We are a family-run company led by husband-and-wife duo Brendan and Carla Byrne and General Manager Richie. Their diverse backgrounds combine to form a versatile leadership team.

Richie is our boots-on-the-ground expert, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard and stays on schedule. With 30 years of project management experience, management roles, and business ownership — Richie brings unmatched leadership, knowledge, and practical expertise to every job.

WHAT KINDS OF FENCING DO YOU PROVIDE?

KS Fence & Deck supply and build all types of timber fencing and we also supply and install all types of aluminum or steel fencing. We can also custom fabricate almost any style of fence so chat to us about your ideas and we can make a plan from there. You can also view our 'Fences' page to see our most popular styles.

WHAT TIMBER IS USED FOR FENCING AND DECKING?

For timber fencing we mainly use Pine, and depending on style, either rough sawn or machine gauged timber is used. For timber decking our framing is treated Pine timber ranging from H3.2 to H5. We use treated Pine decking boards, and we have a large selection of Hardwood decking options too. Check out our 'Decks' page for more information.

CAN YOU REMOVE MY DECK OR FENCE?

Yes, we can remove your old deck or fence before we build a new one. However, removal and disposal will be charged at an additional cost.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

We operate from Tauranga, and we service the Bay of Plenty region including Katikati, Waihi and Rotorua.
