Purple Heart Decks
Purple Heart is a South American hardwood. It is one of the most durable exterior decking timbers available. It is in our opinion one of the best decking timbers to use around pools for its durability.
Purple when cut, it quickly matures to a dark brown. It will weather over time to a driftwood grey if not stained.
We recommend coating Purple Heart with a penetrating oil or stain to allow the timber to properly season in the first year and enhance the lifetime use of your new deck.
KS Fence & Deck use stainless steel screws. We use sustainably sourced A-grade decking timbers.
